    Effective July 1, 2007, all private drinking water wells in Pitt County were required to be permitted prior to installation.

  7. Public Swimming Pools & Spas

    All public swimming pools, wading pools, and spas must comply with the North Carolina Administrative Code .2500 Rules Governing Public Swimming Pools.

  8. Board of Health Rules

    The Board of Health has the responsibility to protect, promote and assure the public's health. It has the authority to adopt rules necessary for this purpose.
