Pitt County's Whistleblower Policy was adopted by the County Commissioners to formalize a mechanism for reporting suspected fraud related to the activities of Pitt County Government. Any person may report suspected fraud via this internet reporting link or by written notice sent to the attention of the County Attorney. To review the Whistleblower Policy, click here.
Please note that reports of suspected abuse or neglect of a child or disabled adult should be made directly to the Pitt County Department of Social Services by calling (252) 902-1110 during business hours or (252) 830-4141 when the office is closed. Also, reports of drug related or other criminal activity in the community, not involving Pitt County Government, should be reported directly to law enforcement.
