Facilities Fees

Application Fee: $10/per application to be paid directly to the school

 

Structure of Fees and Charges per Category

 

A. Community-Oriented Organizations
    Civic Groups


Supervision Fee: $25.00 per hour


Additional Charges: Additional Charges will apply for use of P.A. equipment, floor coverings, pianos, stages, etc.

B. Commercial Profit-Making Businesses, Organizations or Individuals


This category includes any commercial for profit businesses, organizations and churches. Applicants in this category will be required to pay both a facility fee and supervision fee for the use of facilities.


Facility Fee: $75 per hour for each area, including the gym, cafeteria, auditorium, kitchen and other areas.


Supervision Fee: $25.00 per hour


Additional Charges: Additional Charges will apply for use of P.A. equipment, floor coverings, pianos, stages, etc.

Note: Applicants collecting tournament fees may be required to pay 15% of registration fees collected for their program instead of the hourly rate.


C. Use of Facilities by Others

This category includes use of facilities by patrons, parents and friends of the schools. Fees will be charged to cover actual cost of making schools available.


Utility Fee: $25 per hour for each area of the facility.


Supervision Fee: $25.00 per hour


Additional Charges: Additional Charges will apply for the use of P.A. equipment, floor coverings, pianos, stages, etc.

 

Note: Applicants providing ongoing recreational/educational classes or programs may be required to pay 15% of registration fees collected for their program instead of the hourly rate.

 

Use of Ball Fields and Outside Lights

 

Playing fields may be used without charge provided the grounds are maintained and left in good order, no lights are used and no individual and/or team fees are being collected.


Fees for Lights: $20.00 an hour per field in addition to fees collected under section B.


Use of Classrooms for Post Secondary Education


Classroom Fee: $350.00 per semester

Auditoriums/Performing Arts Centers


The following charges will be assessed in addition to fees listed in categories A, B, and C for the use of auditoriums and performing arts centers. These funds are needed for the maintenance and general repair to those areas.

1. GENERAL FEE FOR USE OF THE FACILITY


CATEGORIES A & C       $150 (paid monthly for ongoing use)
CATEGORY B                 $300 (paid monthly for ongoing use)

2. DAMAGE DEPOSIT     $500


MAY BE REQUIRED ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE EVENT


An approved security bond may, at the discretion of Community Schools and Recreation, be substituted for a cash deposit.

3. LIGHTING


a. General House Lights                      No Charge
(House Lights and Florescence on Stage)


b. Theatrical Lighting                       $10 Per Hour
(Timed Use of the Equipment)

c. Spot Light                                    $15 Per Hour
(One Hour Minimum)

4. SOUND SYSTEM


       1-3 Microphones and Sound Board     $50 Flat Rate

5. MUSIC


a. Piano                                         $75 Flat Rate


b. Music Stands                               $1 per Stand


c. Any other musical equipment needs must be cleared through the musical director.

6. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE                       $35 per Hour
(Use of equipment requires a technician.)

All fees and charges for the use of facilities, including fees for personnel, must be paid to the Community Schools and Recreation Office.


All fees must be paid by the due date listed on the completed application or the activity will be cancelled automatically.

 

There will be no rental of school facilities during holiday closing (i.e.,Christmas, Spring Break, etc.) This does not preclude use by Community Schools and Recreation programs or programs sponsored by agencies working cooperatively with Community Schools and Recreation throughout the year.
