The Financial Services Department currently supervises collection of ambulance billing for all Pitt County squads.  This includes all patient billing as well as the filing of Medicare, Medicaid, and other private insurance.  Pitt County accepts payment by cash, check or credit card.

Accounts with unpaid balances are referred to a collection agency.  The Finance Department also uses the Tax Refund Debt Setoff program where unpaid amounts can be deducted from North Carolina State refunds.
