The Human Resources Department maintains a listing of all job vacancies available in County government. Information on current job vacancies and the application process are available by calling the County Job Line at 252.902.1001. In addition to maintaining information on job vacancies, the Human Resources Department is responsible for recruitment and screening, new employee orientation, maintenance of the County's classification and pay plan, interpretation of personnel policies, and development and implementation of employee benefits programs.
