Route 1
- Distance: .65 Mile
- Description: Begin at large tree in front of A.G. Cox School. Walk north toward Blount Street. Turn right onto Blount Street and walk to the back of school campus. Turn right at the stop sign on Ange Street. (Be careful here! This is a "mini" highway but not much traffic present). Turn right onto Sylvania Street. Turn right onto Church Street and head back to start.
- Area Characteristics: Wide streets; Day walking areas; Few benches available at A.G. Cox School.
Route 2
- Distance: 1 Mile
- Description: Begin at large tree in front of A.G. Cox School. Walk north on S. Church Street (toward downtown) to E. Cooper Street and turn left. Walk 1 block to Railroad Street and turn left. Walk 1 block to Blount Street and turn left. Walk 1 block to S. Church Street and turn right. Stay south on S. Church Street until the road narrows. Turn around and walk back to the starting point.
