Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provides accountability to funding sources
  • Provides project manager/consultant with general direction regarding timeline and planning process
  • Provides contacts and useful resources
  • Reviews and approves of steering committee, subcommittees, focus groups and public forum agendas to help ensure desired outcomes
  • Reviews and approves of all marketing materials, website content and other relevant documents
  • Makes some administrative decisions
  • Builds relationships with public officials, decision makers, and individuals that can influence the implementation of the 10-Year Plan
  • Keeps informed of public policy changes related to homelessness, housing, mental health reform, etc
  • Ensures that department/agency staff and colleagues are kept informed of the 10-Year Plan planning process and how their work is related to the work to be accomplished (frame issues)
