October 29, 2009 Pitt County DSS presents Foster Care and Adoption Information Meeting A hundred years from now, it will not matter what sort of house I lived in, what my bank account was, or what kind of car I drove, but the world may be a different place because I was important in the life of a child.
The Pitt County Department of Social Services is always looking for foster and adoptive homes for children of all ages, but there is a special need for homes for older children at this time. This meeting will answer your questions about becoming a foster or adoptive parent and give you information to share with others in our community.
The meeting will be held at Children’s World Daycare, 1360 Greenville Blvd. SW, Greenville, on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 7:00 - 8:30p.
Light refreshments will be served at the meeting. Child care will be provided.
