November 5, 2009 Pitt County Health Department Holding 2009 H1N1 Vaccine Clinic Pitt County Health Department will hold a 2009 H1N1 vaccination clinic on Saturday, November 7 at the Health Department from 9:00 a.m. - noon or while supplies last. Based on CDC recommendations, the 2009 H1N1 vaccine that will be distributed at the clinic will only be available to the following target groups:
• Pregnant women
• People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months
• People between 6 months and 24 years of age
• Healthcare and emergency medical personnel
• People ages 25 through 64 years with chronic health conditions or compromised immune systems
The Health Department is located in the Pitt County Office Park, just off of Old Creek Road.
No appointment is needed. There is no charge for the 2009 H1N1 flu vaccine.
Vaccine quantities will be limited; however, additional supplies are expected throughout the fall.
