Services
The County Attorney's Office provides legal advice and representation to the County Commissioners, County Manager, and other County officials and departments on a broad range of local government issues.
Limitations
The County Attorney's Office only represents Pitt County, its agencies, officials and employees on matters of public business, and does not provide legal advice to citizens on private matters.
Whistleblower
Pitt County's Whistleblower Policy was adopted by the County Commissioners to formalize a mechanism for reporting suspected fraud related to the activities of Pitt County Government. Any person may report suspected fraud via this form or by written notice sent to the attention of the County Attorney. Reports may be made anonymously.
