Technical Details
It is the goal of the County to provide electronic information via the website to all citizens, regardless of computer platform, operating system, or browser. We attempt to present data in a format that is reasonably attainable to all citizens. However, due to the amount of resources available, we must set a minimum standard that will be supported. As a result, some content may not be displayed as originally intended, but should still be viewable by any modern web browser.

PDF Files
The Pitt County Web Site makes use of documents in Portable Document Format (PDF). This is a cross-platform format, and therefore all citizens with computers should be able to view these documents. Many operating systems will display PDFs natively with no additional software. If you need a viewer, you can download the free Adobe Reader here.
