Get Computer Access

Searching for a job or getting training for a job usually requires regular computer access.

If you're looking for jobs, you need to research employers and available positions, complete online applications, draft and print documents, and send and receive email. If you are getting training, you probably need to use learning management systems such as Moodle, and do other work online.

You can't do this very well with just your phone. You need a desk top or laptop computer, an internet connection, and a printer. And you need a quiet, comfortable place in which you can use them.

Fortunately, Pitt County has 10 places where PITTworks participants can find all these things. Please keep in mind that their hours may change, so check before you go.
