Director’s Report:

1. Precinct Judge social: LaVern Judge provided details about the Precinct Judge Social scheduled for September 10 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The social will be held at the new Pitt County Office Park Community Center beside the Agricultural Center. Ms. Mason made a motion that the Board was officially in support of the Precinct Judge Social. The motion passed unanimously.
2. Next Board meeting: Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 4:30 PM

New Business:

1. Appoint Precinct Judges for 2025-2027 term: Staff presented the list of suggested precinct judges to serve a two-year term. Mr. Brown made a motion, seconded by Ms. Avery, to approve the list as presented. The motion passed unanimously.
2. Relocate 1101 Grimesland precinct polling place: Staff presented a recommendation to relocate the polling place for the 1101 Grimesland precinct. The new location is Proctor Memorial Christian Church. Ms. Mason made a motion, seconded by Mr. Blick, to approve the relocation of the polling place. The motion passed unanimously.
3. Approve out of precinct polling place: A motion was made by Mr. Blick, seconded by Mr. Brown, to approve the out of precinct polling place for the 2025 Election for the 1507 precinct. The motion passed unanimously.
