Director’s Report:

1. Precinct Judge social: The social was a huge success and will become an annual event.
2. Speaking engagements: Several speaking engagements are scheduled for this week with more to come.
3. Next Board meeting: Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 4:30 PM

Public Comment: None

Old Business:

1. Appoint Precinct Judges for 2025-2027 term: Staff presented four names to complete the list of suggested precinct judges. Mr. Brown made a motion, seconded by Mr. Blick, to approve the list as presented. The motion passed unanimously.

New Business:

1. Relocate 1403A1 Winterville West precinct polling place: Staff presented a recommendation to temporarily transfer the polling place for the 1403A1 Winterville West precinct. The temporary transfer is to the Winterville Operations Center and will be a shared space with the 1403A2 Winterville South precinct for the 2025 Municipal Election. Ms. Mason made a motion, seconded by Ms. Avery, to approve the temporary transfer of the polling place. The motion passed unanimously.

Closed Session: A motion was made by Mr. Blick, seconded by Mr. Brown, to go into closed session. The motion passed unanimously. The Board went into closed session to discuss a personnel matter.
