In addition to being free those who are unemployed, this class is also free for people who are working but have received notice of an upcoming layoff; or who qualify for the federal earned income credit; or have a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Currently, 200% of the federal poverty guidelines are $27,180 for 1-person households, $36,620 for 2-person households, $46,060 for 3-person households, and $55,500 for 4-person households. Larger households have larger guidelines. These guidelines may be increased beginning the week of January 16, 2023.
