PITT COUNTY, N.C. – Pitt County Animal Services (PCAS) will host a “Clear the Shelter” Adoption Event on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at its facility located at 4550 County Home Road, Greenville, NC.

All dogs and cats are available for adoption with no appointments needed. The regular adoption fee for dogs of $125.00 has been reduced to $63.00 and the regular adoption fee for cats of $85.00 has been reduced to $43.00 for this event. The adoption fee includes the spay/neuter surgery for unaltered animals. All animals are vaccinated appropriate to their age before going home.

We have participated in Clear the Shelter events in the past with great success. I am hopeful that we will have even greater success in 2022 and we can find homes for ALL animals in the shelter! Please come out and meet all of the wonderful pets we have for adoption,” says Miranda Guinn, Animal Shelter Supervisor.
