PITT COUNTY, N.C. – The Pitt County Register of Deeds Office announces it will begin processing passport applications effective Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
“I am pleased that the Register of Deeds is able to expand services, utilizing existing staff. This demonstrates our commitment to public service and meeting the needs in our community. It is another example of Pitt County achieving its vision being a Leader in the State, Best in the East,” says Janis Gallagher, Pitt County Manager.
U.S. citizens planning international travel may apply for their passport at the Register of Deeds Office by appointment, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the new office located at 100 E 1st Street, Greenville, N.C.
“We are excited to be able to assist citizens wishing to obtain their passports and renewal of passports,” says Lisa Nichols, Register of Deeds.
