[ARCHIVED] Pitt County Animal Services to Begin “Silent Nights”

PITT COUNTY, N.C. – Pitt County Animal Services (PCAS) announces the holiday foster program “Silent Nights” to begin on Monday, December 19, 2022.  The program is a foster opportunity designed to get dogs, cats, kittens and puppies out of the shelter and into a home during the holiday season.

PCAS will supply food, bowls, toys and blankets for all foster pets.  Foster dogs and puppies will come with a leash and crate while cats and kittens will have a collar and carrier.  Animal Services provides the supplies free of charge

Silent Nights is perfect for those who have not fostered before, but are interested in fostering for a short period.  It’s the season for giving!  We hope residents accept our invitation to give the animals a calm and bright home for the holidays”, says John Quick, Animal Control Officer.
