NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PERMANENTLY CLOSING .08 MILES OF RADIO STATION ROAD ( “SR 1296”)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pitt County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing in the Eugene James Auditorium, in the Pitt County Office Building, 1717 W. 5th Street, Greenville, North Carolina at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9th, 2023. The purpose of the public hearing is to hear the views of all interested persons with respect to whether the closing would be detrimental to the public interest or to any individual property rights. Interested citizens may contact Pitt County Planning Department at 252-902-3250, during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Following the public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners will consider adopting an order permanently closing .08 miles of Radio Station Road.
