NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pitt County Zoning Ordinance Map Amendment
The Pitt County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 20, 2023, at or after 6:00 pm in the Eugene James Auditorium in the County Administration Building located at 1717 W. 5th Street, Greenville, N.C. to consider the following request:
Rezoning request by Glandon Forest Equity, LLC to rezone 1.79 acres of property owned by the Elizabeth Brown Huband Heirs from Rural Residential (RR) to General Commercial (Conditional District) (GC(CD)) to allow “Department, Variety or General Merchandise”. The subject property is identified by the Tax Assessor’s Office as Parcel Number 49759, and is located at the eastern corner of the intersection of NC 33 W and SR 1417 (Belvoir School Road) in the Belvoir Township.
The purpose of this public hearing is to gather public comment and input on the proposed request prior to consideration by the Board of County Commissioners. Those persons unable to attend the hearings may submit written questions or comments to the Clerk to the Board before the meeting.
