[ARCHIVED] PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE: Pitt County Zoning Map Amendments

NOTICE OF HEARINGS:  Pitt County Zoning Map Amendments

The Pitt County Board of Commissioners will hold public hearings on Monday, April 3, 2023, at or after 6:00 pm in the Eugene James Auditorium in the County Administration Building located at 1717 W. 5th Street, Greenville, N.C. to consider the following requests:

  • Rezoning request by Shannon Hodges to rezone 9.28 acres of her property from Rural Agricultural (RA) to General Commercial (Conditional District) (GC(CD)) to allow the operation of a self-storage warehouse facility.  The subject property is identified by the Tax Assessor’s Office as Parcel Number 68999, and is located on the southern side of US 13, east of its intersection with SR 1139 (Moye-Turnage Road) in the Farmville Township.  
  • Rezoning request by F&A Construction, LLC to rezone 7.16 acres of their property from Rural Agricultural (RA) to General Commercial (GC).   The subject property is identified by the Tax Assessor’s Office as Parcel Number 72622, and is located at the western side of NC 11 N, south of its intersection with NC 30 in the Bethel Township.  
  • Rezoning request by Phillip. A. Lewis to rezone 10.0 acres of his property from Rural Residential (RR) to General Commercial (GC).  The subject properties are identified by the Tax Assessor’s Office as Parcel Numbers 68711 and 08760, and are located at the northwestern corner of the intersection of US 13 and SR 1206 (Bell Arthur Road) in the Arthur Township.
  • Rezoning request by Marjorie Elks, LLC to rezone 1.41 acres of their property from Rural Agricultural (Conditional District) (RA(CD)) to Rural Residential (RR).  The subject property is identified by the Tax Assessor’s Office as Parcel Number 84321, and is located at the intersection of SR 1774 (Mills Road) and SR 1741 (Page Road) in the Chicod Township.
