Health Department Hosts 2023 Baby Jamboree - Maternity Fair
Event aims to promote resources to help improve birth, health outcomes
PITT COUNTY, N.C. – For the first time since 2019, the Pitt County Baby Jamboree - Maternity Fair will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Greenville Convention Center located at 303 Greenville Blvd SW, Greenville, N.C.
The purpose of the fair is to help improve the health of Pitt County infants and children through the promotion of available resources to expectant and new parents, individuals who are planning a pregnancy, grandparents and caregivers.
The fair, which is free of admission and open to the public, will feature health exhibits, items for purchase and a maternity and children’s clothing fashion show featuring Noah’s Nook Boutique, Miah Baby Company and Hope of Glory.
Participants can win door prizes throughout the event and register to win a grand door prize donated by Triple P - Positive Parenting Program. The winner will receive items to furnish their baby’s room.
The Baby Jamboree - Maternity Fair is sponsored by the Pitt Infant Mortality Prevention Advisory Council (PIMPAC), the Pitt County Health Department, Triple P - Positive Parenting Program and the Greenville Convention Center.
