Pitt County WIC Office Closed Thursday, May 25
One day closure for staff development exercise
PITT COUNTY, N.C. – The Pitt County Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program, located at 201 Government Circle, Greenville, N.C. will be closed on Thursday, May 25, 2023. The purpose of the closure is to develop and train staff to enhance services for WIC and other nutrition services at the Pitt County Health Department (PCHD).
Staff will engage in teambuilding activities that will be used to develop and prioritize goals that improve customer service.
“Ongoing training and exercises are necessary and required to ensure that staff is skilled in areas of customer service and meeting the changing needs of the community. We take great pride in ensuring that our staff is well prepared so that we can make services better for the public,” says Robin Tant, Nutrition Program Director.
All other PCHD services will operate as usual. The WIC Program will return to normal operating hours on Friday, May 26, 2023.
