No-Cost COVID-19 Home Tests At Pitt County Health Department
Community partners called upon to distribute home test kits
PITT COUNTY, N.C. – No-Cost COVID-19 home tests are now available at the Pitt County Health Department (PCHD). Each person requesting a test kit will receive one box which includes two COVID-19 rapid home tests.
“The tests were provided by the NC Department of Health and Human Services. Pitt County received 400 boxes, which we are making available to the community. Additional tests will be ordered as needed,” says Teresa Ellen, Pitt County Interim Health Director.
Where: COVID-19 home tests can be requested at the Pitt County Health Department front desk located at 201 Government Circle, Greenville, N.C.
When: Effective immediately, tests will be available during normal business hours from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Qualifications: Individuals may receive one COVID-19 home test box per person. Kits contain two home tests for ages 2 years and older. This includes uninsured, underinsured, undocumented and homeless individuals.
