The Pitt County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 18, 2018 at or after 6:00pm. regarding a proposed Conditional Use Permit. This hearing will be held in the Eugene James Auditorium on the second floor of the County Administration Building located at 1717 W. 5th Street, Greenville, N.C.
The Pitt County Planning Department is in receipt of a petition from Pastor Charles E. Lewis requesting a Conditional Use Permit for the expansion of an existing child day care facility located at 2659 Railroad Street as required in the Rural Residential district. The subject property is owned by Antioch Church Ministries, LLC and is identified by the Tax Assessor’s Office as Parcel Number 33709 located in the Arthur Township. The purpose of the public hearing is to gather public comment and input on the proposed conditional use permit prior to consideration by the Board of County Commissioners.
