[ARCHIVED] Proclamation of Town of Farmville State or Emergency

Section 1. Pursuant to the Town of Farmville Code Ordinance Chapter 32, Section 16 and Chapter 166A of the General Statutes and Article 36A, Chapter 14 of the General Statutes, I have determined that a State of Emergency as defined in the Town Ordinance exist in the Town of Farmville.


Section 2. I, therefore, proclaim the existence of a State of Emergency in the Town of Farmville.


Section 3. I hereby order all Town law enforcement officers and employees and all other emergency service personnel, subject to my control, to cooperate in the enforcement and implementation of the provisions of the town emergency ordinances, which are set forth below.


Section 4. Movement It shall be unlawful to be or travel upon any public street, alley, or roadway or upon public property unless in search of medical assistance, food, or other commodity or service necessary to sustain the well-being of himself or his family or some member there of Weapons.


Section 5. It shall be unlawful to possess off one's own premises, buy, sell, give away, or otherwise transfer or dispose of any explosives, firearms, ammunition or dangerous weapon of any kind.


Section 6. Alcoholic Beverages. It shall be unlawful to sell beer, wines, or intoxicating beverages of any kind; or to possess or consume the same off one's own premises.


Section 7. Execution of State of Emergency. All civilians and emergency service personnel are ordered to comply with the provisions of this proclamation.


Section 8. This proclamation shall become effective immediately.
