The Pitt County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 19, 2018, at or after 6:00 pm. regarding a proposed Map Amendment (Rezoning) to the Pitt County Zoning Map. This hearing will be held in the Pitt County Agricultural Center located at 403 Government Circle, Greenville, N.C.
The Pitt County Planning Department is in receipt of a petition from Lever & Russell Real Estate, LLC requesting that a portion of their property be rezoned from Rural Residential (RR) to General Commercial (GC). The subject property is identified by the Tax Assessor’s Office as Parcel Number 12683 and is located on the northern side of SR 1127 (Frog Level Road), northwest of its intersection with US 13/Dickinson Avenue. The subject property is 16.09 acres, of which 8.13 acres are proposed for rezoning. The purpose of the public hearing is to gather public comment and input on the proposed amendment (Rezoning) prior to consideration by the Board of County Commissioners.
