[ARCHIVED] PUBLIC NOTICE: Pitt County Zoning Ordinance Conditional Use Permit Request


The Pitt County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 19, 2018 at or after 6:00pm. regarding a proposed Conditional Use Permit.  This hearing will be held in the Pitt County Agricultural Center located at 403 Government Circle, Greenville, NC.

The Pitt County Planning Department is in receipt of a petition from Doris Wilkins requesting a Conditional Use Permit to modify the hours of operation for an existing residential day care facility as required in the Rural Residential district. The subject property is identified by the Tax Assessor’s Office as Parcel Number 59150 and is located at 828 Barrus Construction Road in the Belvoir Township. Citizens interested in obtaining additional information on this Conditional Use Permit request should contact the Pitt County Planning Department (252-902-3250).

The purpose of the public hearing is to gather public comment and input on the proposed conditional use permit prior to consideration by the Board of County Commissioners. Those persons unable to attend the hearing may submit written questions or comments to the Clerk to the Board before the meeting.
