The Pitt County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 18, 2019 at or after 6:00pm regarding a request for a Conditional Use Permit. This hearing will be held in the Eugene James Auditorium on the second floor of the County Administration Building located at 1717 W. 5th Street, Greenville, NC.
The Pitt County Planning Department is in receipt of a petition from Thomas and Ann Taylor requesting a Conditional Use Permit for the operation of a wedding/event facility on their property as required in the Rural Agricultural district. The subject property is identified by the Tax Assessor’s Office as Parcel Number 60295 located on the eastern side of SR 1124 (Speight Seed Farm Road) south of its intersection with SR 1125 (Pocosin Road). The purpose of the public hearing is to gather public comment and input on the Conditional Use Permit Request prior to consideration by the Board of County Commissioners.
