The Pitt County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 17, 2020, at or after 6:00 pm regarding a proposed Map Amendment (Rezoning) to the Pitt County Zoning Map. This hearing will be held in the Eugene James Auditorium in the County Administration Building located at 1717 W. 5th Street, Greenville, NC.
The Pitt County Planning Department is in receipt of a petition from Angel Herrera requesting that his property be rezoned from Light Industrial (LI) to General Commercial (Conditional District ) (GC(CD)) to allow the operation of an automobile repair service, automobile towing service, motor vehicles sales, and tire sales. The subject property is identified by the Tax Assessor’s Office as Parcel Number 01966, and is located on the northeastern corner of the intersection of US 264 East and SR 1564 (Old Washington Road) in the Pactolus Township. The subject property is 1.71 acres, the entirety of which is proposed for rezoning.
