Due to staffing needs beyond control, the Pitt County Health Department has postponed the free community flu shot clinic originally scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Awesome Radio in Greenville, NC. This site will be rescheduled for another date in the near future.
“Public Health is working to assure that numerous services and resources are made available to the community. Our ongoing response to COVID-19 has caused us to shift several staff duties making it challenging to provide other routine services within the community. We apologize for any inconvenience this postponement may cause,” says Dr. John L. Silvernail, Pitt County Health Director.
The remaining free community flu shot clinics continue to be held as planned at the following locations from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm:

In the event of inclement weather, these clinics will be also be rescheduled.
Individuals, 6 month of age and older will be served. Each site will offer a limited supply of vaccine and will be given on a first come, first served basis. High dose vaccine will not be provided.
Individuals should bring their Medicaid or other insurance card; however, no one will be denied services due to inability to pay.
