2020_PCHD_News

The Pitt County Health Department has moved to an online COVID-19 appointment scheduler for use by the general public. As additional groups become eligible to receive the vaccine, the need for this online service has increased.

The Moderna vaccine is routinely offered at the Health Department located at 201 Government Circle, Greenville. This week, the Health Department will also offer the Johnson and Johnson vaccine through a partnership with Vidant Health. The Health Department will provide the Johnson and Johnson vaccine on Thursday, March 11, 2021 and Friday, March 12,  2021 at a mass vaccination clinic that will held at the Pitt County Cooperative Extension Auditorium located at 403 Government Circle, Greenville

Appointments are required to receive either vaccine. Appointments can be made by visiting the Pitt County Government website at www.pittcountync.gov. Individuals who do not have internet access or who need assistance making an appointment can call 252-902-2300 and select Option 7.

Individuals will be required to attest that they fall into one of the current eligible categories to receive the vaccine.
