  1. Computer Technology Awareness (Continuation of class that began on 1/23/23)

    Do you need to update your technology skills and become more familiar with computer technology? Learn the basics of how to operate a personal computer and become more familiar with Microsoft Word software in order to enhance your professional skills. This class meets every Monday and Wednesday morning. In addition to being free those who are unemployed, this class is also free for people who are working but have received notice of an upcoming layoff; or who qualify for the federal earned income credit; or have a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Currently, 200% of the federal poverty guidelines are $27,180 for 1-person households, $36,620 for 2-person households, $46,060 for 3-person households, and $55,500 for 4-person households. Larger households have larger guidelines. These guidelines may be increased beginning the week of January 16, 2023.
