Proposed Donation of Surplus County Equipment to City of Greenville

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that Pitt County, NC is requesting the donation of certain surplus property to another governmental unit at the Pitt County Board of Commissioners meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025 in the Eugene James Commissioners Auditorium, Pitt County Administration Building, 1717 West Fifth Street, Greenville, NC pursuant to N.C. General Statute §160A-280. Pitt County has declared twelve (12) Motorola MCC 7500 radio consoles to be surplus, obsolete, or unused, as the equipment is no longer supported by the manufacturer. It has been determined that it is in the public interest for this property to be donated to the City of Greenville for governmental use and benefit.
