Pitt County is served by several law enforcement agencies that work together to keep our community safe. In an emergency, call 911. For non-emergency concerns, contact the appropriate agency listed below.
Pitt County Sheriff’s Office
The Sheriff’s Office is the county’s largest law enforcement agency. It also manages the county detention center and jail services.
The following areas do not have a local police department. Law enforcement services are provided by the Sheriff’s Office, with support from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol:
