Weather Related Schedule Changes | Government Offices & Programs

Pitt County Government Offices and Programs Cancellation/Delay

Schedule changes happening January 26 due to forecasted extreme cold weather 


PITT COUNTY, N.C. – Pitt County Government offices, including Public Health clinical services, will operate on a two-hour delay, opening at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, January 26, 2026. 

Cultural Arts & Recreation classes are cancelled for January 26, 2026. 

Pitt Area Transit System (PATS) will operate normal hours on Saturday, January 24 and operate on a two-hour delay, opening at 8:00 a.m., on January 26, 2026.   

Patients with clinic and PATS appointments will be contacted for rescheduling.

Solid Waste and Recycling (Transfer Station and Convenience Sites) will operate on its normal schedule.
