Pitt Friends is a foster-based rescue group that works exclusively with animals from our shelter. They consistently step up for those who need the most help—whether it’s dogs with medical needs, pregnant mothers, newborn litters, or pets that simply require more time and care outside the shelter environment.
So far this year, Pitt Friends has rescued 86 dogs from our care. That’s 86 lives given a second chance, and 86 stories with a brighter ending—made possible by this extraordinary partnership.
