    The Leroy James Farmers Market, located at 4560 County Home Road in Greenville, NC, will open for the 2026 season on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Our team is dedicated to promoting and managing a successful, community-driven market that highlights local agriculture, small businesses, and craftsmanship throughout the year.

    • Special events may be added at any point during the market season. These events will be identified and advertised as such. Proof of all applicable state and local permits and certificates will be required.

  6. 2026 Market Fees Schedule

    The Leroy James Farmers Market will operate beginning Saturday, January 17, 2026, through Saturday, December 19, 2026.

    Below are the required fees upon application approval. 
    Check or money orders can be made payable to Pitt County and returned in person or via mail to:

    These rates include application fees, booth rental, equipment, and facility maintenance

    • Annual Membership Vendor Fee $150.00/Year
    • PRN (fill-in) Vendor Fee $75.00/Year
    • Special Event Fee $25.00/Event
    • Utilization of Refrigerator or Freezer On Site $50.00/Year
  7. Application Process

    Complete the application and provide all required documentation.

    Submit materials to the Market Manager in person, online, or by mail, to:

    Review & Notification: Applications are evaluated for alignment with market guidelines, product quality, and space availability. Accepted vendors will receive setup and scheduling details before opening day.

    You are encouraged to complete and return your application packet as soon as possible. We are fortunate to have a high level of interest from local vendors, and we expect the market to fill quickly, especially during peak season months.

    • All Farm/Production applicants will have market staff visit the farm before selling at the market. 
    • Please understand that this is a cursory visit to verify the application, and subsequent visits may be scheduled throughout the season.

    I certify that 51% or more of the products I offer for sale are grown or produced on my own farm or production premises. I agree to permit representatives of the Leroy James Farmers Market to inspect my farm or production site, as well as the items I intend to sell, to verify compliance with market regulations.

    1. Application Agreement*

      I acknowledge that the information on this application is accurate. I also allow the Leroy James Farmers Market to use photos and videos of me, my products, and booth space for promotional and marketing purposes.

    2. Electronic Signature Agreement*
