    all the information & procedures on the Property Value Appeals Information Page before completing this form.

    A request for hearing must be received before the final BOER adjournment for accepting new appeals, which is:

    Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM

    Untimely Appeals

    Appeals filed after the Board’s adjournment date of April 30, 2026 are considered untimely and will not be heard by Tax Administration.

    A separate hearing can be held ONLY to determine if your appeal was filed on time — the appeal itself will not be considered.

    NCGS 105-360(e) provides that when the BOER reduces the value of a property and the taxpayer has then paid more tax than is due, the taxpayer is entitled to a refund
