Item: Emergency Management Radios
Motion: Motion to address out of county mutual aid fire scene communication interoperability by directing Emergency Management staff as follows: 

• Determine which departments among of the 7 contiguous counties request access to Pitt County’s 700 Mhz radio system; 
• For those requesting departments, provide a Pitt County radio user ID in exchange for a radio user ID utilized by the requesting county, and waive the $15 subscriber fee; 
• Provide that each department cover the cost of their own radios and programming; 
• Allow up to 6 Pitt County radio user IDs per out of county requesting department; 
• Emergency Management to bring back Agreements for approval by the Board of Commissioners consistent with these directives.

Motion: Authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract for the transportation of the C&D waste from the Pitt County Transfer Station to C&D Landfill Inc.
