  • Breastfeeding Support: Good nutrition starts from day one. Breastfeeding is one of the best ways to give your baby a healthy start. Pitt County Public Health offers breastfeeding services to help new and expecting parents learn how to nourish their babies and build lifelong healthy habits.
  • Diabetes Management Education & Support: Meet with a registered dietitian for one-on-one guidance and group classes. Learn about meal planning, cooking, and healthy snacks. Free monthly meetings offer support, resources, and recipe ideas for people and families living with diabetes.
  • Eat Well: Join free cooking demonstrations and taste healthy recipes. Learn how to cook with seasonal fruits and vegetables, take home printed recipe cards, and get tips for affordable, healthy meals.
  • Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program: The WIC Program offers nutrition education, breastfeeding help, and healthy foods for eligible pregnant women, new mothers, and young children. Participants also learn how to make simple, nutritious meals for their families.
