Leading County Operations and Supporting Strategic Directions

The Pitt County Manager’s Office includes the County Manager and the Clerk to the Board and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of County government. Working closely with the Pitt County Board of Commissioners, the Manager’s Office carries out the Board’s policies, goals, and priorities while maintaining effective working relationships with elected and appointed officials and partner agencies. The office also supports County services and programs across the community.

The manager represents Pitt County in regional meetings and collaborates with state and federal agencies. Other key roles include leading community projects, supporting county growth, and ensuring public services meet residents' needs, making Pitt County a better place to live and work
