Young Exhibitors Invited to Showcase Livestock, Rabbits and Poultry
Youth from across the region are encouraged to participate in the Livestock, Rabbit and Poultry Show at the Pitt County Fair on Saturday, September 20th. The Rabbit Show begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Poultry Show at 11:00 a.m and the The 4-H Livestock Show at 3:00 p.m.
Rabbit Show Details
- The Pitt County Rabbit Show is open to all youth ages 4 to 18 the day of the show
- The show will be held on September 20 at 10AM
- Exhibitors may enter a total of four Rabbits in the Show
- There will be 4 age divisions of Showmanship: 4-6, 7- 10, 11-14 and 15-18
- Rabbit classes will be divided by type and sex
- Rabbits may be kept on exhibition at the fair all week for a $15 per head premium

Poultry Show Details
- The Pitt County Poultry Show is open to all youth ages 4 to 18 the day of the show
- The show will be held on September 20 at 11AM
- Exhibitors may enter a total of four birds in the Poultry Show
- All breeds of Chicken, Turkey, Ducks and Game Birds are eligible to be shown
- All poultry not current on inspection must be brought to the fairgrounds between 12-4pm Tuesday, September 16th for inspection by NCDA.
- There will be 4 age divisions of Showmanship: 4-6, 7- 10, 11-14 and 15-18
- Poultry classes will be divided by type and sex
- Birds may be kept on exhibition at the fair all week for a $15 per head premium

4-H Youth Livestock Show
- Pitt County Youth Livestock Show, Saturday Sept 20, 3 PM
- Open to Youth from Pitt, Martin, and Beaufort Counties
- Please Check in Animals by 2 PM
- 2 entries allowed per class: Market Lambs, Market Goats, Breeding Ewes, Meat breed Does, Dairy Does.
- All exhibitors will be signed up for goat and/or sheep showmanship.
- Entries due by Sept 13
