Pitt County Solid Waste & Recycling Opens Transfer Station, Sites
Transfer station opens at 11:00 a.m.; convenience sites remain closed

Pitt County Solid Waste & Recycling updates the previous announcement that on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, the Transfer Station located at 3025 Landfill Road, Greenville will open at 11:00 a.m.
Due to conditions of some secondary roads, all County convenience sites will remain closed. Crews will continue to clear the sites as conditions allow.
