Young Exhibitors Invited to Showcase Rabbits and Poultry
Youth from across the region are encouraged to participate in the Livestock, Rabbit and Poultry Show at the Pitt County Fair on Saturday, September 20th. The Rabbit Show begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Poultry Show at 11:00 a.m and the The 4-H Livestock Show at 3:00 p.m.
Rabbit Show Details
- Open to youth ages 4–18
- Held Saturday, September 20th at 10:00 a.m.
- Exhibitors may enter up to four rabbits
- Showmanship divisions: ages 4–6, 7–10, 11–14, and 15–18
- Classes divided by type and sex
- Rabbits may be kept on exhibition all week for a $15 per head premium

Poultry Show Details
- Open to youth ages 4–18
- Held Saturday, September 20th at 11:00 a.m.
- Exhibitors may enter up to four birds
- All poultry not current on inspection must be brought to the fairgrounds on Tuesday, September 16 from 12:00–4:00 p.m. for NCDA inspection
- Showmanship divisions: ages 4–6, 7–10, 11–14, and 15–18

4-H Youth Livestock Show
- Pitt County Youth Livestock Show, Saturday Sept 20, 3 PM
- Open to Youth from Pitt, Martin, and Beaufort Counties
- Please Check in Animals by 2 PM
- 2 entries allowed per class: Market Lambs, Market Goats, Breeding Ewes, Meat breed Does, Dairy Does.
- All exhibitors will be signed up for goat and/or sheep showmanship.
- Entries due by Sept 13
