Public Input Needed
The Pitt County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 6, 2025, at or after 6:00 p.m. in the Eugene James Auditorium in the County Administration Building located at 1717 W. 5th Street, Greenville, N.C. regarding proposed amendments to the Pitt County Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance. The proposed amendments ensure that the County’s ordinance conforms to the North Carolina Sedimentation Control Commission’s Model Ordinance and regulations.
The purpose of the public hearing is to gather public comment and input on the proposed amendments to the Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance prior to consideration by the Board of County Commissioners.
