PITTCycle Fridays
Reusable items discarded at the Transfer Station are posted to the Solid Waste & Recycling Facebook page. Residents can claim items for upcycling and repurposing, helping reduce landfill waste and support sustainability.

Tarp It or Ticket
All loads must be covered before arriving at the landfill or transfer stations. This policy helps reduce roadside litter, avoid fines, and keep the community clean.

Education and Community Engagement
