A Household Hazardous Waste Free Collection Day was held on Saturday, December 6, 2025. This event offered residents a convenient way to safely dispose of materials that should not be placed in regular trash.

Hosted by Pitt County in partnership with the NC Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services Pesticide Disposal Assistance Program and the North Carolina Cooperative Extension.

Collection will take place at the Transfer Station.
