Commercial Business Waste
Business Waste & Credit Application
Commercial business waste is not accepted at residential collection sites and must be taken to the Transfer Station or managed through a private disposal company. Businesses may apply for a Waste Credit Account that allows approved companies to establish a line of credit with Pitt County for solid waste disposal fees at the Transfer Station. Instead of paying each time waste is dropped off, businesses may be billed on a monthly basis once approved.
Key Credit Agreement Details
- The signer must be an authorized agent of the business, empowered to make binding financial agreements.
- Interest of 1.5% will be charged on overdue balances over $50.00 that are more than 30 days past due.
- If legal action is required, Pitt County reserves the right to recover attorney’s fees and litigation costs.
