Expanding Culture, Art, and Recreation Opportunities for Our Community

Expanding access to creative and recreational experiences, the Cultural Arts and Recreation Advisory Board connects residents, staff, and county leadership to strengthen programs that enrich community life. The board advises on policies, programs, and facilities that support cultural expression, lifelong learning, and healthy recreation for all ages. Its role includes reviewing plans for parks, greenways, cultural programs, and recreational facilities, while also encouraging public input to ensure offerings reflect the needs and interests of Pitt County’s diverse community.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every other month at 4:00 p.m., alternating between the County Home Road and Government Circle buildings. All meetings are open to the public.
